Since foundation, SHWire has developed into the recognized quality leader in the industry. Other than enamelled copper wires, the product range also includes enamelled aluminium wires that are in demand by the winding industry worldwide. In addition to the established standards, SHWire also develops and produces special types of enamelled wire, such as the innovative self-lubricant SHTherm® 210 Glide or embossed wire that has very good mechanical properties exceeding the industry standard by far.
Over the years, the production site in Lügde has been repeatedly strengthened by acquisitions and integration of competitors as well as investments in the double-digit million range. This also includes the topic of digitization which is promoted in line with the "Industry 4.0" reference structure.
