About us
Our association has been existing for more than forty years, and changed in 2020 its legal form to become EWWA, an International not-for-profit association under Belgian law.
EWWA members are highly specialized small- and medium sized businesses from across Europe, focused to provide technology leadership, which cover the whole range of winding wires from ultrafine 30 μ to the biggest transposed cables.
Globally, our 9 members represent more than 85% of the European market. They employ over 4000 people in Europe, generating a turnover over € 2 billion in 2018
EWWA is listed in the European Commission’s transparency register under N° 784821241670-73. We are a member of CENELEC.
